Precautionary measures in response to Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak

LATEST UPDATE

In light of COVID-2019 [DORSCON level Orange], we have put in place the following precautionary measures:

Self-Declaration and Temperature Screening

All visitors, contractors and workers, including delivery and dispatch staff, will be required to complete a health & travel declaration form and temperature screening upon arrival. Guests and staff found to have a temperature of 37.6C and above will be denied entry. We urge guests to be vigilant, observe good personal hygiene and to seek medical attention immediately if unwell.

Maxwell Chambers employees, including outsourced vendors, will be required to take their temperature at least twice a day. Staff who are unwell will be asked to see a doctor and not come to work. We are also encouraging staff to practice good personal hygiene, such as regular handwashing.

During this difficult period, we seek your patience and kind understanding. Please treat our staff with respect as they are working hard to assist you to the best of their ability.

Public Common Areas

We will disinfect common areas at least four times a day and increase the frequency of cleaning should the need arise.

Hearing Rooms, Executive Suites, Business Centre and Arbitrators’ Lounge

All contact areas and surfaces will be disinfected, including but not limited to: tables and chairs, sofas and couches, telephones, shelves, doors and handles.

Business Continuity Plan

We will be dividing our workforce between two sites and scheduling staff to work from home, in order to minimise physical contact. We have also temporarily suspended overseas business & leisure travel for employees.
