Update on Virtual ADR Hearings at Maxwell Chambers

As part of our business continuity plan during the COVID-19 crisis, Maxwell Chambers will still be accepting and accommodating virtual hearings during this period, amidst the implementation of the extended circuit breaker measures from 7 April till 1 June 2020. While our facilities will be closed, Maxwell Chambers will remain fully operational as all staff will be telecommuting and will be able to assist you with your queries.

Virtual hearings will be held remotely and all parties such as clients, arbitrators and staff need not be physically present at Maxwell Chambers for the hearings to proceed.

To make the transition to our state-of-the-art video conferencing platform, we will provide a step-by-step tutorial guide for all parties involved upon confirmation of a virtual hearing booking. Taking into account privacy and confidentiality, our friendly moderator will help create virtual breakout rooms to facilitate private discussions. As a neutral party, the moderator will manage the participants’ visual and audio quality, facilitate document sharing, and ensure dry runs are conducted.

Maxwell Chambers is also working with reputable partners to provide clients with a full suite of services, including real-time transcription, interpretation and digital hearing solutions during a Virtual Hearing.
