SUMMARY:“Breaking with Convention” Networking Event
DESCRIPTION:Event Details \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Give your books a second life and make a positive impact \n \n \n \n Extend a helping hand to Dignity Mama\, an organisation dedicated to empowering young adults with disabilities\, by enabling them to gain basic entrepreneurship skills and lead independent lives. Together with their caregivers\, the young adults sort\, price\, and sell donated books at Dignity Mama’s book kiosks\, gaining real-world skills\, confidence\, and purpose.  These kiosks are located across major hospitals in Singapore.  If you have pre-loved books to give\, this is a great chance to donate for a good cause\, help reduce waste\, and give books a new lease on life. Dignity Mama is a initiative by Project Dignity\, whose mission is “to build and return dignity to the disadvantaged and disabled through vacation with passion”. This book donation drive is a part of our #MaxwellGoesGreen initiative. \n \n \n \n What can you donate? \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n WILL ACCEPTDO NOT PUT \n \n \n Books in good condition.Pleaes do not donate books in poor condition (aged\, with brown spots\, with dog-eared covers\, loose pages\, markings and highlights). \n \n Children's books (fiction & non-fiction) \nAdult Fiction (NO science fiction)\nAdult reads in English: management\, business\, health/wellness\, cookery\, self-help\, family/parenting\nMagazines: National Geographic\, Reader's Digest\, etc. \nComics: Archie\, Tintin\, Marvel Comics\, Lao Fu Zi\, Pokemon\, etc.\nEducational toys\, flashcards\, kids' puzzles in good working orderEncyclopedia sets\nChinese manga comics / series and romance series\nPhotocopied notes \, Assessment Books\, Textbooks\nReligious\, banned or adult/controversial content\nLifestyle / entertainment magazines\nUsed items like Clothes\, Shoes or Soft Toys\nMultimedia including DVDs\, CDs\, Tapes\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Packing tips: Please pack the books in A4 sized boxes or reusable bags\, if possible. \nUnsuitable donations will be disposed of at Dignity Mama's sole discretion. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Q&A from the Lecture: \n \n \n \n Q1: What are the potential challenges in the future for issuing arbitral awards?
