SUMMARY:Arbitration in Times of Conflict: Force Majeure\, Sanctions and Disruption (Virtual Edition)
DESCRIPTION:Arbitration has become the preferred method of dispute resolution for a wide range of commercial disputes. \nThis seminar seeks to examine how periods of geopolitical and economic instability impact arbitration practice and dispute resolution\, with a focus on the key current challenges arising from force majeure claims\, sanctions regimes\, and broader contractual disruptions in light of recent developments. This seminar will feature a cross-jurisdictional perspective to provide comparative insights into how these issues are addressed across diverse arbitration frameworks\, including specific procedural and substantive issues that arise at each stage of an arbitration involving conflict-related disruptions.
