International Centre for Dispute Resolution Singapore
International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) – Singapore Office
The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) officially launched its Singapore Office in August 2026. The office is ICSID’s first staffed office outside its Washington, D.C. headquarters and serves as its regional hub for Asia and the Pacific. The Singapore Office brings ICSID’s services closer to parties and counsel in the region and deepens its outreach to States, investors and legal practitioners. It also enables ICSID to better serve the region’s needs in investment dispute prevention, management and resolution, and to raise awareness of the full scope of ICSID’s offerings. The Office is based at the World Bank Group Singapore Office at 10 Marina Boulevard. ICSID also maintains a presence at Maxwell Chambers Suites, alongside local and regional offices of international dispute resolution institutions, law firms, chambers and ancillary service providers.
ICSID is the world’s leading institution devoted to international investment dispute settlement and one of the five organisations of the World Bank Group. Established in 1966 under the ICSID Convention, ICSID provides an independent and depoliticised forum for the resolution of international investment disputes through arbitration, conciliation, mediation and fact-finding. Its availability to investors and States helps promote international investment by providing confidence in the dispute resolution process.
