Rooms & Facilities
Our premium rooms are primarily used for Dispute Resolution hearings, including arbitration and mediation.
In addition, our rooms can also be used for meetings, seminars, conferences, and corporate functions.

Yes, we provide catering. Please note that all F&B must be catered through Maxwell Chambers and its suppliers. Our exclusive Maxwell Chambers F&B menus are available upon request.

A minimum booking of half a day applies as a base rate. Additional charges apply for hourly extensions. Share with us your requirements.
Yes, all 4 floors in the building are accessible via lift lobby. We also have wheelchair-accessible toilets.
Please be advised that our dress code policy is business attire. No slippers, sandals, shorts and bermudas are allowed within the premises. Maxwell Chambers reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors who do not adhere to our dress code policy.

Virtual Hearings
A virtual hearing is a hearing conducted by audio-visual means, where cases take place without the need for participants to attend the hearing in person.
You will require a laptop with a webcam and microphone function, and earphones with a microphone function to facilitate this video-conferencing. The device must be connected to a stable and high-speed internet connection to ensure good video quality.

We strongly encourage you to participate in the test call, especially if you are an active speaker. Test calls will be also conducted with all parties of the hearing (including tribunal, witnesses, experts, transcription provider, EPE presenter) prior to the start of the hearing. The timing of the testing will be communicated to the parties in advance via email.

Yes, Maxwell Chambers is platform agnostic. Please share with us your preferred platform, or let us recommend the most suitable platform for your requirements.
Maxwell Chambers video conferencing platform allows up to 100 participants for each hearing, with unlimited breakout rooms based on your requirements.
If you would like the option of a dedicated Maxwell virtual hearing manager to be present throughout the course the hearing, let us know in your requirements.
Complimentary recording of the hearing can be provided with the consent and acknowledgement from the Tribunal.
As a neutral party, Maxwell Chambers is able to facilitate virtual/ hybrid hearings in accordance with protocols and best practices, ensuring confidentiality of all proceedings.
We ensure seamless proceedings of your hearing from end-to-end. You have the option of a dedicated Maxwell Chambers Virtual Hearing Manager to be present throughout the hearing to ensure it runs smoothly – taking parties through hearing etiquette and schedule, ensuring connectivity and quality of the video conference, allowing participants into the hearing based on the attendee list, creating virtual breakout rooms and troubleshooting any technical difficulties.

Hybrid and In-Person Hearings
A hybrid hearing is a combination of both virtual and in-person hearings, where at least one party is physically present at Maxwell Chambers.
For parties accessing the hearing virtually, you will need the latest version of the video conferencing platform (Zoom / BlueJeans or similar VC platform), a laptop with a webcam and microphone function, and earphones with a microphone function to facilitate this video-conferencing. The device must be connected to a stable and high-speed internet connection to ensure good video quality. You will receive an invitation link to access the hearing before the hearing.
For parties present at Maxwell Chambers, the room will be set-up based on your requirements in one of our acoustically-treated hearing room, based on the number of attendees. If you require EPE and/or Transcription services, we will liaise with the solution provider to ensure your equipment set-up is ready before the hearing. You may wish to bring along your personal laptop should you wish to have a separate log-in to the hearing.
