We are open 24/7 to cater to different timezones, with round-the-clock security and individually-accessed security to your meeting rooms. The business centre is also fully equipped to suit your needs.
Please be advised that our dress code policy is business attire. No slippers, sandals, shorts and bermudas are allowed within the premises. Maxwell Chambers reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors who do not adhere to our dress code policy.

Rooms & Facilities
Our rooms are primarily used for Dispute Resolution hearings such as Arbitration and Mediation.
In addition, our rooms can also be used for meetings, seminars, and corporate functions.

All our room layouts are customisable based on your requirements – including U-Shape, Classroom, Theatre or Cluster. Share with us your requirements for us to assist you.
We have a total of 37 rooms in varying sizes for both hearings and corporate events. Our largest hearing room can seat 55 people.

Arbitrators and mediators have exclusive access to the Vanda Lounge. There is also a common Maxwell Lounge for counsels and parties’ use. Coffee corners can also be found around the building.
No, we do not have a carpark. However, there are carparks in the vicinity at Guoco Tower (sheltered) and along Peck Seah Street behind Maxwell Chambers Suites (open air). More information here.
Yes, our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with lift access to all four floors and wheelchair-friendly restrooms available.

For in-person attendees, our friendly and attentive staff are available to assist with secretariat services such as photocopying, printing, storing and shredding of documents. Our curated dining menu is also available on request.
Guests can enjoy a thoughtfully curated catering menu featuring a variety of dining options to suit diverse tastes and dietary requirements. Please note that all food and beverages must be arranged exclusively through Maxwell Chambers and its authorised partners.

Hybrid and In-Person Hearings
A hybrid hearing is a combination of both virtual and in-person hearings, where at least one party is physically present at Maxwell Chambers.
For parties accessing the hearing remotely, you will require a laptop with a webcam and microphone function, as well as headphones with a microphone to facilitate Virtual Hearings. A wired headphones is advised over a wireless one, to ensure low latency or any other technical glitches.
For parties present at Maxwell Chambers, the room will be set-up based on your requirements in one of our acoustically-treated hearing rooms, based on the number of physical attendees. If you have engaged EPE and/or Transcription services, please let us know the name of the solutions provider. We will liaise with them to ensure your equipment set-up is ready before the hearing. You may wish to bring along your personal laptop should you wish to have a separate log-in to the hearing.
Maxwell Chambers’ in-house AV team will be on-site to assist. Throughout the course of the hearing, you may drop us an email at [email protected] or approach our Reception Counter at Level 3 to request for any assistance.
If you have engaged Maxwell Chambers’ Virtual Moderator services for your hearing, our Virtual Moderator will be able to assist you.
For Hybrid Hearings, complimentary recording of the hearing can be provided with the consent and acknowledgement of the Tribunal.
For in-person hearings, please inform us of your recording requirements during the booking process.

Virtual Hearings
A Virtual Hearing is a hearing that is conducted purely via audio-visual means, where cases take place without the need for participants to attend the hearing in person.
Virtual Hearings conducted at Maxwell Chambers are mainly hosted on the Zoom platform. Each hearing can allow up to 300 remote participants, with unlimited breakout rooms based on your requirements.
You will require a laptop with a webcam and microphone function, as well as headphones with a microphone to facilitate Virtual Hearings. A wired headphones is advised over a wireless one, to ensure low latency or any other technical glitches.
We strongly encourage you to participate in an audio-visual test call, especially if you are an active speaker. Test calls can be conducted with all parties of the hearing (including Tribunal, Factual/Expert Witnesses, Transcriber, EPE Operator) prior to the start of the hearing.

In a Virtual Hearing, a dedicated Virtual Moderator will be present throughout the course of the hearing to assist with any technical issues. Please feel free to call out for the Virtual Moderator to request for any assistance.
