A Chartered Arbitrator and former Judicial Commissioner of the Singapore Supreme Court, Christopher Lau SC’s arbitration practice encompasses investment as well as all aspects of commercial disputes including construction, maritime, energy, corporate, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, communications, military & defence procurements involving the laws of various common and civil law jurisdictions. Amounts in dispute in several arbitrations exceeded some billion US Dollars. Christopher is, among others, a Vice President of the LCIA Court, a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, NYIAC’s Board of Advisors, KCAB’s International Arbitration Committee and the Council of the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration. Christopher has served as mediator in commercial, construction and shareholder disputes both international and domestic.
