As part of ICCA 2024 Hong Kong, Ciarb (East Asia Branch) together with Ciarb Singapore Branch and Ciarb Australia have organised a post-ICCA 2024 Hong Kong cocktail drinks for all Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) members around the region.

Join HKA on Wednesday, May 8th, for a fundraising walk along the harbour. We will be raising funds for The Hub Hong Kong, a local charity that provides educational, social health, and well-being support to disadvantaged children and youth in Hong Kong.

Baker McKenzie is excited to host a panel discussion with arbitration experts from around the globe who will discuss specific issues arising in international arbitration in light of cultural differences, including different approaches to resolving disputes, presenting witness evidence effectively, and tackling cultural biases in decision making.

This event marks the launch of the Annual Review on Commercial Arbitration in China (2024).  The topic is “When East Meets West: Local Practices, Global Insights”

Taking place on the sidelines of ICCA 2024, ArbitralWomen and Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge “Bonding over Breakfast” Networking Event will happen on May 6 2024, 08:00-09:00 at Herbert Smith Freehills.

This joint UNCITRAL-RCAP and AAIL event will explore the key features of the Code of Conduct and discuss its implications for practitioners, arbitrators, and government officials.

The session will be exploring the innovative changes made by leading arbitration institutions in Asia and the Middle East to their Rules, where some Institutions have been reorganizing and re-branding.
